So in summary, it technically works with Cakewalk when I'd used it in earlier 2021 (Windows 10) but not fully functional in key aspects for me. It became easy to do but god help me if I have to re-learn the method. Moving to Reaper, it took yet more research and experimentation with the Presonus configuration files (some easy coding language you can follow by example in lines already written in the file) to get the footswitch to emulate hitting Record as well as map out some other useful functions such as Markers I think. So finally caused me to abandon Cakewalk despite my enjoyment of it. It would only start/stop the play button. That is.NO Punch in/Punch out by footswitch. VST, Cakewalk VST, Ableton Live 11 Standalone App, Ableton Live 10. I could not get the Footswitch setup to START/STOP Record. Operating System, Windows 10 (64 bit), OS X 10.11 and above, Windows 7 (64 bit). It took a bit of online research but in the end not really difficult to add it to the setup/configuration options.īUT!!!!!!!, it failed to work for me in one dealbreaker aspect and finally confirmed by further research. ![]() ![]() Glad I'm already registered and I recall now I'd done so to search this very issue so while late to the party.YES the CLASSIC (tan model) does work with Cakewalk by Bandlab.
